Results: Seven patients underwent RFFF, 46 patients reconstructed with sub-mental flap. Partial necrosis was

A Review of the Multidisciplinary Diagnosis of Interstitial Lung Diseases: A Retrospective Analysis in a Single UK Specialist Centre

Archives of Pulmonology and Respiratory Care Review Article Abstract  Abstract A multidisciplinary team approach to diagnosis and management of interstitial lung diseases (ILD) is considered gold standard and an integral part of ILD management and guidelines. The accurate diagnosis and management of individuals with ILDs poses an interesting challenge in clinical practice. This is a single center retrospective review of electronic patient letters and multidisciplinary team (MDT) records spanning a five and half year time period. In this study we assessed the accuracy of prior ILD diagnosis, the methodology used to establish a correct diagnosis and how an MDT approach to diagnosis affected subsequent management. Our results demonstrate that a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosis within a single specialist ILD center can establish a diagnosis in the majority of cases when prior diagnosis is uncertain (76%). We also show that a prior diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is

The Journal of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences Research Article Abstract This paper aims to provide an innovative scenario for transportation and lowering installation of heavy caissons of 18000 tons for Persian Gulf Bridge. The project is supposed to be carried on in Bohal port from Hormozgan to Qeshm Island in Iran. There is a heated controversy over the suitable scenario to do the operation safely and lower the caissons correctly under sea to position them on their exact location.  http://www.peertechz.com/Civil-Engineering-Environmental-Sciences/pdf/JCEES-1-106.pdf

Herpes Zoster Masquerading as Acute Coronary Syndrome

International Journal of Vascular Surgery and Medicine Clinical Image Clinical Image A 65 year old male presented to the causality department of our hospital with one day history of burning chest pain in the right upper half of the chest radiating to the right axilla & the le precordial region associated with diaphoresis. No history of fever, cough or rash was evident. Vitals were normal. An X ray chest done was normal and ECG showed RBBB (Figure 1). A Troponin T (qualitative) test along with cardiac enzymes was done in view of possible acute coronary syndrome which were noncontributory as well. e patient was given symptomatic treatment by the resident on duty but on the second day he returned back with a vesicular eruption in the upper part of the trunk on the right side which extended to the axilla and the right mammary area (Figures 2a, b). http://www.peertechz.com/Vascular-Surgery-Medicine/pdf/IJVSM-1-105.pdf

Role of Inhalant and Food Allergens in Child Sensitization: A Prospective Study in 176 Children

Scientific Journal of Genetics and Gene Therapy Research Article Abstract Background: The origin of atopic disease is poly factorial and the development of atopic manifestations appears to be linked to interactions between genetic and environmental factors. Such data seem to focus attention on the rising prevalence rates of atopic dermatitis, a common debilitating skin condition in infants and young children. They also often have asthma and/or allergic rhinitis. Patients and Methods: The aim of the present study was to evaluate the rate of SPT (skin prick tests) and RAST response to Der p in atopic children with AD. We have prospectively studied 176 children (93 males and 83 females) aged from 6 months to 7 years, and divided into four different groups, including controls. We studied also their family history in the accompanying parents Results. The data of the present study show that a significantly higher proportion of children with AD have positive SPTs to Der p than the con

Recent Structure Activity Relationship Studies of 1,4-Benzodiazepines

Peertechz Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Research Review Article Abstract Structure activity relationship studies of 1,4-benzodiazepines have been discussed especially with their effects as antianxiety and anticonvulsants. The currently available benzodiazepines are associated with various side effects. Nowadays the purpose of these studies is to minimize side effects with these drugs. A very little alteration is possible on the benzene ring while the modification can be done on the diazepine ring. It can adopt the different conformations and in some cases some aromatic and heterocyclic rings have been fused with this part in order to see the effect of these conformation blockers on the pharmacological activity. The structure activity studies are also linked to molecular modeling studies. This is important in adding some information for the interaction of these drugs with the receptors and how this interaction can be improved. http://www.peertechz.com/Medicinal-Chemistry-Re
