Efficacy of a Recombinant Genotype VII Vaccine against Challenge with Velogenic Newcastle Disease Virus

Journal of Vaccines and Immunology Research Article Background: Newcastle disease virus (NDV) genotype VII has become the dominant genotype in China. However, NDV genotype II was used to make current commercial NDV vaccines. The mismatch of genotypes between circulating and vaccine strains of viruses may compromise the efficacy of vaccines. #scholarlyfreearticles #scholarlyopenaccess #scholarlyjournals http://www.peertechz.com/Vaccines-Immunology/pdf/JVI-2-116.pdf

A Belgian Randomized Trial in Hepatitis C Virus-Infected Patients with Persistently Normal Alanine Aminotransferase

Global Journal of Clinical Virology Research Article Persistently normal alanine aminotransferase (PNALT) is present in 30 to 40% of chronic hepatitis patients and it is generally accepted that they have no liver damage. However, some studies suggest that there are some degrees of mild to moderate histological liver damage. We evaluated the fibrosis stage and the virological outcome in treated patients with PNALT. 60-Year-Old Man with Pheochromocytoma and Clinical Picture of Depression

International Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism Case Report Introduction: Pheochromocytoma is an adrenal gland tumour, which usually produces catecholamines. The classical triad of clinical symptoms consists of palpitations, headaches and profuse sweating. Other symptoms include: hypertension, anxiety, pallor, nausea, weakness. However, it can be asymptomatic. Because of unspecific symptoms the diagnosis of this rare neuroendocrine tumor can be missed or delayed. In differential diagnosis other entities should be considered: essential hypertension, anxiety attack, hyperthyroidism, hypogonadism, hypoglycemia, renal artery stenosis, intracranial lesion, autonomic epilepsy, carcinoid syndrome, use of cocaine or amphetamine. #openaccesspublisher #openaccesspublishing #openaccessjournalsonline http://www.peertechz.com/Clinical-Endocrinology-Metabolism/pdf/IJCEM-2-116.pdf

Oxygen-Ozone Treatment in Bisphosphonate Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw: A Case Report

Global Journal of Anesthesiology Case Report The bisphosphonate related osteonecrosis of the jaws (BRONJ) is defined as a drug-adverse reaction that involves the maxillary bones. It develops during or after a long-term bisphosphonate therapy in absence of radiotherapy [1]. The clinical pattern was described for the first time by Marx RE in 2003, who observed the development of jaws osteonecrosis in patients underwent to Multiple Myeloma and Mammary Cancer therapy [2]. Bisphosphonates (BF) pharmacokinetics consist in the osteoclast function interruption, angiogenesis inhibition, as well as blocking any cancer cell line activity together with the interruption of signal transduction [3]. In this way the bone regeneration is interrupted and osteonecrosis is more probable . #freejournalarticles #freeonlinearticles http://www.peertechz.com/Anesthesiology/pdf/GJA-3-125.pdf

Periodontitis and Infertility: An Evidence-Based Review

Global Journal of Fertility and Research Research Article Periodontal diseases are initiated by a pathogenic biofilm, in a susceptible host, affecting the tooth periodontium. Its possible association with many biologic systems has been studied. In this evidence-based review, a comprehensive literature search was carried out to assess if there is an association between periodontal diseases and female infertility. #freejournalarticles #freeonlinearticles http://www.peertechz.com/Fertility-Research/pdf/GJFR-1-103.pdf
